We celebrated a 50th birthday here tonight. The Chef's tasting menu was delicious with the exception of the duck where the foi gras was burned. However, I'd written in the reservation questionnaire what we were celebrating and asked if something could be done to make it special for the occasion. When we arrived and were seated our waiter asked if it was a special occasion and I mentioned the 50th birthday to him.......and then nothing. Literally nothing. Not even a little Happy Birthday written on the desert plate or a verbal Happy Birthday. No one acknowledged it even after saying it to the server. It was disappointing.
